Hip Hip Horray for another smoothie day! I am on a total smoothie kick lately and love how they can be so energizing. I really believe smoothies are one of the best ways to feed your body at a cellular level providing a bulk of raw nutrients in one simple glass. This smoothie is chalked full of antioxidants, vitamin A, vitamin C, beta carotene, fiber, protein, potassium, omega 3 fatty acids, and B-complex nutrients. This is an easy peasy smoothie to throw together in the morning and run out the door! Here is your recipe, I promise you will love it!! Cheers to smoothie goodness!
Carrot Strawberry Smoothie
1/2 cup raw carrots
1 cup frozen organic strawberries
1/4 frozen banana
1/4 cup organic vanilla greek yogurt ( can substitute coconut yogurt)
1 tbsp. chia seeds
1/2 cup unsweetened coconut water
Blend in high powered blender such as a nutribullet, ninja, or vitamix until smooth. Pour into your favorite glass and top with extra chia seeds(optional).
