Berry Bee Smoothie!

image1 (20)Hey ya’ll I have to share this quick and delicious smoothie recipe that is sure to get you morning humming and one of my personal favorites topped with what I like to call nature’s sprinkles….bee pollen. I love to fuel up and jumpstart the day with smoothies because honestly it is great way to fit in a ton of great nutrition in one glass. This smoothie combines loads of diverse nutrients rich in antioxidants, non-heme iron, fiber, protein, omega three fatty acids, B-complex and immune boosting qualities from our bee pollen. This smoothie is total cell food and easy to whip up  so here is the recipe just for you to try. Let me know what you think:) Cheers!

Berry Bee Smoothie:

1 cup mixed organic greens

1/2 cup organic frozen strawberries

1/2 cup organic frozen blueberries

1/2 cup organic carrots

2 tbsp. chia seeds

4 ounces nonfat greek yogurt ( optional or can substitute coconut, soy, goats milk yogurt )

1 tsp bee pollen

How To:

Using a high powered blender like a Vitamix, Ninja, or Nutribullet, add all ingredients in blender and blend until desired consistency. If the smoothie needs to be thickened just add about 1-2 cup -1 cup ice and blend again for increased thickness. Pour into your favorite cup and top with sprinkles bee pollen. Enjoy!!!
